Furniture reupholstery is a dying art in the Omaha area and there is a great need for a new generation of people to learn this craft. This class is designed for those who have a cherished piece of furniture they would like to preserve as well as those who want to start a new career or hobby. Learn the basic techniques and tricks of the trade. Bring scissors, wire cutters and a small, simple piece of furniture to the first class and we will discuss fabric choices and yardage needed to begin your project. Other charges may apply depending on the project. No discounts.

Other charges may apply depending on the project. No discounts. Due to space, all upholstery projects must be removed from Makerspace when class ends. If you need additional time and plan to return the following quarter please let your instructor know. All abondoned projects will be thrown out at the end of the quarter.
