Sustainable Landscape Design: Principles, Process and Plants," you'll learn the basics of landscape design that address seasonal beauty, landscape function and problem-solving, biodiversity, plant selection for hardiness and adaptability, and sustainable maintenance. We'll cover the basic design principles and how they are applied to a landscape; discuss and apply the design process, learn about a variety of regional design and plant resources; and see how a sustainable approach to landscape design can enhance your landscape goals and objectives. By the end of this class, you'll have the knowledge and skills to begin developing a design for a yard or garden, and/or be better informed to successfully hire landscape design and construction professionals.
