This introductory class focuses on the foundation of every great sourdough loaf-the starter. Learn how to create and care for a wild yeast sourdough starter using just flour, water, and time. We'll cover the science of fermentation, feeding schedules, and troubleshooting tips to keep your starter healthy and active. Perfect for beginners ready to take the first step into sourdough baking. Leave with your own starter-in-progress and the knowledge to keep it thriving at home.
