The Teaching with the Science of Learning badge focuses on cognitive science principles that improve learning, such as retrieval practice, prediction, interleaving, self-explaining, and motivating students to persist and succeed.

The Teaching with the Science of Learning badge is part of the MCC/OneHE Challenge Badge program, which allows MCC faculty to build skills collaboratively in a flexible, asynchronous online format. Participants should expect to spend about six hours per badge.
