Introduction to solar electric (or photovoltaic of PV) systems and installation; topics include applications for residential and commercial, safety basics, electricity basics, solar energy fundamentals, system components, system sizing, site/design considerations, and installation. The class would be appropriate for home or building owners evaluating solar and those interested in working in the solar industry. The class is presented by Michael Shonka, an NABCEP certified PV installer and owner of Solar Heat and Electric.
