In this course you will learn and understand how to effectively communicate with individuals who have dementia to reduce negative behaviors. Dr. Hudson will share strategies on and tips on how to identify non-pharmacological strategies to improve activity engagement and well-being for those living with dementia.

Rosie Hudson

Rosie Hudson graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She went on to pursue her Clinical Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy from Creighton University in Omaha, NE. Rosie began her career as a geriatric OT following graduation in May of 2016 and has extensive training in the area of dementia care. Her areas of interests have included various topics in the fields of gerontology, dementia care, aging, and sensory integration.
