At Teaching, Learning, and Technology Roundtables (TLTR), faculty collaborate to address shared teaching challenges, dicuss current and emerging instructional technologies, and build knowledge of effective instructional strategies.

TLTRs meet on select Thursdays, 3-4 p.m., at varying campus locations and/or on Zoom.

Moderated by David Bentz and Jessica Del Monaco, Instructional Design Services, and Naomi Mardock Uman, Faculty Development.

Notes:

April's topic: A Canvas Shell Share, with a focus on assessment. In this session, Robert Caldwell (Business) will review how to set up a Canvas page for group and individual projects including related assignments, timetables, rubrics, and resources. We will also review an outcomes assessment rubric, demonstrate how to create an outcomes assessment rubric in Canvas, and how to view and export the data. MCC Assessment Coordinator Steve Nichols will discuss "closing the loop" on assessments and answer your assessment-related questions.
