This course is an introduction to the Italian language, covering basic grammar and vocabulary and emphasizing communication and cultural understanding through the mastery of all four language skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking). By the end of this course, students will be able to engage in simple conversations and understand/interpret basic written texts in the target language. No prior knowledge of Italian is required.
