Green Zone is informational training to help faculty and staff members understand the unique experiences of military-connected students and, in turn, create a more supportive campus environment.  This training educates participants about the military journey, the challenges of transitioning from military service to academia, and available resources, allowing them to act as allies by providing a “sympathetic ear” and guiding students to appropriate support services.  The training also aims to reduce stigmas and make the transition from military life to college life smoother.
