Are you interested in the North American cryptid known as Sasquatch or Bigfoot? Did you know sightings of these creatures have been documented for thousands of years in North America? In this class, we'll discuss the historical accounts by indigenous peoples and early American settlers, listen to audio recordings of purported Sasquatch noises, examine fascinating photographs, and watch compelling video tied to these creatures. We will also discuss how to go out into the woods and what equipment to use to collect evidence. Finally, the instructor will provide instruction and demonstrate how to create footprint casts in the ground using hydrocal (similar to plaster of Paris).
