Learn to sail in a fun, relaxed environment! Introduction to sailing is a group class for beginners taught on 14-ft. single-sail Zest boats. This class covers the basic concepts of sailing including safety, rigging, knots, points of sail, and boat handling. Each session will have a brief lecture followed by on-the-water sailing practice. Commitment to attend all 4 sessions is highly encouraged. Adult registration required with a teen registration.
Notes:
Parking fee of $5 per day at Lake Manawa unless you have Iowa license plates. Details about the class will be sent a week in advance of class.
