Fascinated by the age old art of crewel embroidery?  In this class you will be introduced to 15 common techniques including the running stitch, back stitch, satin, chain, fish bone and French knots.  You will learn which fabric is best for various finished pieces as well as how to pick a needle and thread.  The hands on class will have you practicing by creating a sampler of the various stitches just like students have been doing for centuries. Bring a $15 supply fee.
