Come to the Fontenelle Forest and learn how to identify animal tracks as well as other indicators of animal activity in an urban forest environment. Through hands-on activities, participants will explore how to interpret footprints, scat, fur, and other clues left by animals, gaining insight into the behaviors and habitats of local wildlife. This class encourages observation, patience, and critical thinking while fostering a deeper connection to nature and is designed for children who want to enhance their outdoor exploration skills and environmental awareness. Participants will receive a free set of track I.D. cards perfect for putting their new skills to use.
