Come join us for The Way of Tea: Japan, the second session in our four-part series on tea cultures around the world. In this session, we will explore the history and philosophy of tea in Japan, from its introduction by a Zen Buddhist monk to its codification into the famous tea ceremony, Chanoyu. We will investigate tea as it relates to the arts, aesthetic principles, and everyday life of the people of Japan.
