Prerequisites
Prior to enrolling in *FAA Drone Pilot Certification Training, you must have completed the specified prerequisites (if you have not taken a prerequisite, you can click on the catalog code link to see a list of upcoming course sections):
Introduction to Drone Pilot Training
This 3 hour course provides participants with a basic introduction to the rules and regulations needed to safely fly drones in compliance of FAA guidelines. Participants receive one-on-one flight instruction while gaining hands-on experience navigating a drone through an indoor obstacle training course. The DJI Phantom and Mavic Series sUAS is provided for participants use.
