DIY Greeting Cards

Learn how to make top-notch handmade greeting cards that any age can enjoy. You'll walk away from this class with a fun and beautiful packet of cards to give away to those you care about.

You can follow along with the instructor and learn or you can purchase supplies and work along with her. These items can be found at any craft store, including Walmart, in the papercraft area. By the end of the workshop, students should create at about five 5"x7" cards. If you want to purchase items for the class, here is the supply list:

Supplies Needed:

• 11x14 Bristol Paper Pad (will cut down into 5x7" cards)
• *Paper trimmer
• Scissors
• Printed Letter Stickers/Foam Letter Stickers (various color and shape choices available)
• 5 sheets of Scrapbook Paper or a Paper Pad (themed/various colors of choice)
• Glue Sticks/Adhesive spray glue (recommended brand: 3M Scotch)
• 1-2 packs of Adhesive Embellishments/Stickers (holiday themed or occasions of choice)
• Envelopes (5x7") (optional)

*Alternative to Bristol Paper Pad if you are unable to access a paper trimmer
You have the option of purchasing a pack of pre-cut and folded blank (5"x7") cards and envelopes

Students will utilize the Zoom conferencing application to complete this course. Zoom meeting invitations will be sent via email at least one day prior to the class start date. Students must provide a valid email address to receive the meeting invitation to enter the Zoom virtual classroom.

To view/update your email address, visit mccneb.me/register and log on to your "Existing Account". After you log on, you will be taken to your "My Account" page. Once the page loads, click on "Profile." You can update your email address and any other information on your "Profile" page. If you make any changes to your information, make sure to scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Update Account" to save your changes.
