Event and Wedding Planning Noncredit Certificate (Core Class)
Regardless of an event’s size or budget, financial goals rank high in importance for meeting stakeholders. This course looks at the financial management process ranging from developing a budget to analyzing return on investment. We will discuss the factors involved in successful financial management for event and wedding planners. Topics include aspects of budget categories and revenue streams. Students will gain a practical understanding of the budgeting process by tracking revenue and expenses while generating event reports. This course is ideal beginners interested in learning more event management and also for event and wedding planners who want to enhance their continuing education.

A workbook and downloadable files to use for your next event will be available for purchase from the instructor for $40. Students will utilize the Zoom conferencing application to complete this course. Zoom meeting invitations will be sent via email at least one day prior to the class start date. Students must provide a valid email address to receive the meeting invitation to enter the Zoom virtual classroom. No discounts.
