Interviewing 101

This workshop is designed to give you the capability to communicate effectively in business. The objectives include developing and strengthening interpersonal skills, creating written messages appropriate for a variety of business audiences, and presenting business messages in appropriate formats and venues. You'll learn the importance of crafting an enticing resume and cover letter to hook an interviewer to invite you to an interview. Additionally, you will discover the importance of showing up as your real self and highlighting your best skills.


Students will utilize the Zoom conferencing application to complete this course. Zoom meeting invitations will be sent via email at least one day prior to the class start date. Students must provide a valid email address to receive the meeting invitation to enter the Zoom virtual classroom. To view/update your email address, visit and log on to your "Existing Account". After you log on, you will be taken to your "My Account" page. Once the page loads, click on "Profile." You can update your email address and any other information on your "Profile" page. If you make any changes to your information, make sure to scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Update Account" to save your changes.
