Is this the first Android smartphone or tablet you’ve ever had? If so, most likely, you may have no idea how it works. It’s far more than just a phone. In this class, students will learn the most basic functions (turning the phone on and off, adjusting screen brightness and volume, accessing apps, and more) as well as how to decipher the icons that pop up at the top of the screen. You will leave this class with an understanding of which dings and beeps are related to what notifications and lots of other helpful tips. This class is designed for the absolute beginner, so don’t hesitate to bring all your questions. You must have a Gmail account that is connected to an Android smartphone. If you do not have a Gmail account or are not sure that your Gmail account is connected to your Android phone, contact the instructor after registering for the class. Bring your Gmail id/password, android device and a charging cord to class. (one session)
