Discover the easiest way to cover a cake with fondant. Explore different techniques such as drapings, swags, folds, bows, roses and leaves. Learning how to create beautiful cakes for celebrations of all kinds can be a new hobby or even a profitable outlet. You may just find your passion through the art of cake decorating. Bring two and a half pounds of fondant, 10-inch round styrofoam cake dummy found at Mangelson’s, 14-inch round cardboard, 14-inch box to take cake home and rolling pin to class. The instructor is Jo Ellen Simon, certified master sugar artist, one of 33 in the entire world. (one session)
