The class is designed for the beginning loom weaver. Explore the fascination of endless combinations of twill weave patterns while learning all the parts and functions of the loom including finishing techniques. Discover weaving terminology, reading, following and designing pattern drafts. Projects will include a summer/fall scarf, sampler, wall hanging or table runner. Bring yarn needles, scissors, a notebook, pencils and tape measure to class. FTP: warp & weft for second project will be discussed in class. The instructor is Connie Wheeler. (five weeks)
