The art of quilting dates all the way back to the Middle Ages. For most, while growing up, quilting was a common household task for your mother or grandmother. We don't want the beautiful art of quilting to fade away. Join this class to learn basic quilt making skills and create your first quilt with Instructor and Quilterpreneur, Celeste Butler. She will be there to guide you step by step. Discover how to rotary cut, do basic quilts designs, assemble, quilt and bind your project. The Quilt pattern is pre-selected, then paired with your choice of fabrics! Bring fabric & scraps of fabric you may already have. This class is for beginners - no quilting experience required, but you should be familiar with using your sewing machine. Go to mccneb.edu/ce for a supply list. (six weeks)
