Yes, macramé is back! And it's better than ever. Modern macramé is the perfect blend of creativity and skill, allowing you to create beautiful and purposeful home décor. In this beginner-level workshop, Natasha Kessler of SugarWolves Macramé will guide you through the basic techniques and foundational knots of macramé. Using the knots learned, you will create your own cotton rope plant hanger! Your new plant hanger will fit a range of pot styles from six to eight inches across. If you have a container that size already in mind, bring it along-and Natasha will show you how to customize the pattern to create a perfect fit. All project supplies will be provided. If you have any beads that you would like to add to your plant hanger (they should have at least a 10mm hole size), bring those too!

Notes:

Macramé is a beautiful yet physical art form. Students should expect to be standing for most of the class, as our projects will be suspended while working. Chairs will be provided to take breaks as needed.
