Have you ever wondered how big rigs run? This camp will help you discover how diesel engines work. You will get a little dirty in this camp, as you study shop safety, select and use proper tools for the right job, and experience precision measuring techniques. You will identify and inspect different truck components. Safe activities will always be at the forefront of all class and shop activities. Students must wear long pants, preferably jeans, and a shirt with sleeves. Leather boots or shoes are required. No loose clothing or jewelry will be allowed for safety reasons. Gloves and safety glasses will be provided. Seats are limited. (ages 14-17)

Notes:

We will meet you at 5:30 p.m. at the entrance to the Fremont Center. Don't forget to wear long pants and a long sleeve shirt with leather shoes or boots.
