From the railroad-building of the 1860s to the political battles of the 1960s, Irish immigrants and Irish-Americans have always been integral to the history of Omaha. Join us for a historical survey of the Omaha area through an Irish lens; from the Creighton Brothers to Father Flannagan and beyond. This course will also include an explanation and examination of the recently completed South Omaha Irish Mural.
