Faculty Development has ten print copies of this text for registered participants available on a first come first serve basis. Please email Naomi to request a print copy if available. The text is also available from the MCC library or for purchase through the publisher, linked above, and other booksellers.

Structure

This year you can participate in the winter reading group asychronously via Canvas or synchronously via Zoom or BOTH! All participants will be enrolled in the Canvas discussion and sent meeting invitations for the discussions. You choose how and when you participate.

Schedule

Jan. 6, Canvas Discussion opens

Jan. 10, 12:30-1:30, Zoom: Discuss Part 1, Chapters 1-4

Jan. 31, 12:30-1:30, Zoom: Discuss Part 2, Chapters 5-8

March 5, in-person on Faculty Development Day, time TBD: Discuss Part 3, Chapters 9-12

Participants will be invited to collaborate on leading the discussion of a chapter.

Faculty Development Stipend

The faculty development stipend for adjunct instructors is $18 per session (3 sessions).
