When it comes to cutting anything, a solid hardwood cutting board puts them all to shame. And if you make your own custom wood cutting board, you'll enjoy it that much more. This simple project requires cutting wood strips and gluing them together or using a big slab of wood, sanding it smooth, and oiling the finished product. You can also customize the board by putting a design on your board.
