Robotics: Engineering and Coding I

This course is designed for the beginning learner to foster critical thinking and creativity in a STEM-based environment. Design thinking methodology is incorporated to draw upon logic, imagination, intuition and systemic reasoning to provide a solution-based approach to solving problems. Students will use their newly acquired skills to ideate and create programs designed to overcome robotics competition-style challenges and engineering problems. Many of the activities are team-based to simulate real-world robotics competitions to further engage communication and collaboration. (ages 9-11; four weeks)
