Using technology to create art. Art and design are a part of our everyday lives. From toys to tech-gadgets to smart phone/homes to digital communities/landscapes, art and the art of digital design is integral in all aspects of our lives. Key concepts in art like symmetry, balance, composition and colors are employed for interactive lessons. Using visual programming and machine learning, 3D-design, robots and motion-capture cameras will be used as tools in creating digital art as well as the being the subject of the art itself. This interactive and memorable camp isn’t just for right-brain enthusiasts or left-brained thinkers, it’s for all who see creativity, design thinking and tech-fun as one. The class brings to life the “A” for Art in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math). (ages 8-11)
