Esports (also known as electronic sports, e-sports, or eSports) is a form of competition using video games. Esports often takes the form of organized, multiplayer video game competitions, particularly between professional players, individually or as teams (source: Wikipedia). This camp is for those who are beginners wanting to take their gaming to the next level or advanced players looking to learn what’s new in the world of esports and how to use it to their advantage. This camp is best suited for any player who wants to learn how to start their own esports team, how to plug into existing teams and how to broadcast your games so that you can find others to play and be a top player yourself in the esports world!
As for drones, they are here to stay. From micro drones used as toys for kids to commercial drones for hobbyists turned professional pilots to military drones used to protect and defend, drones are becoming a part of our everyday lives. Amazon has started delivering packages via drones. Drones are now programmed to go anywhere on land, air and sea (yes, there are even underwater drones)! This camp is an immersive camp designed to take kids from beginner to advanced on all things drones. From learning the anatomy of drones to how to build/service/program drones to learning FAA rules on flying drones, this class is intended for anyone interested in or already passionate about this new sport/hobby/career. Each student will receive their own drone to learn how to program, fly, repair and ultimately take home.
