Prerequisite: Must be 18 years of age or older. Intended for dental assistants with at least 3,500 hours of work experience, a high school diploma or equivalent and graduation from a CODA accredited dental assisting program.

This course will discuss the process to apply for the Dental Assisting National Board Certified Dental Assistant Exam. Infection Control, Radiography and General Chairside Assisting topics will be reviewed. While this course does not ensure passing the DANB exam, it is a good start to the exam preparation process. The process to apply to DHHS for a Dental Assisting License will also be discussed. You must register by Oct. 16.
