As China continues to rise as a global power, people are increasingly interested in Chinese culture and language. This is a basic Chinese course for beginners, including introduction of phonetics and common expressions. Class examples will come from real life scenarios and can be used in everyday communications. In addition to class activities, there will be a selection of optional reading materials. You need no prior experience with Chinese language to take this course.
