Led by an experienced beekeeper, students will learn about hive setup and maintenance, bee biology, seasonal care, honey harvesting, and marketing regulations. The course blends practical instruction with insights into the ecological importance of pollinators and the growing demand for sustainable honey products. Students may choose to purchase an add-on beehive kit ($175); assembly demonstration by instructor during class.
