"The 4-Day Teen Visual Storytelling & Comics Camp invites creative teens ages 12–17 to explore the art of storytelling through illustration. Blending writing, drawing, and design, this camp helps students develop the skills to create engaging characters, build visual worlds, and craft dynamic stories that leap off the page. Campers will learn key comic-making techniques such as storyboarding, character expression, page composition, and inking. They’ll experiment with both traditional and digital tools while studying how layout, timing, and color influence emotion and action in visual narratives. Guided by experienced artists and writers, participants will create their own short comic or illustrated story from concept to final artwork. Along the way, they’ll gain confidence in their storytelling abilities, artistic technique, and creative voice. By the end of camp, each teen will have a polished mini comic and a solid foundation in the art of visual storytelling."
