Learn how to build an economically friendly, beginner level yet aesthetic, online portfolio website from start to finish with Google Sites. Great for artists, photographers, and writers who are just starting out. We will explore design consistency, proper URL naming and acquisition, image editing, logos, watermarks, build (using Google Sites), incorporating a calendar, proofing, and publication. Students will need to know their way around a computer and will be tasked with creating a folder on the desktop, downloading files from the internet, uploading files from their computers, creating a Google account (if applicable), and several other advanced beginner/intermediate level items during this class.
