In the first 12 weeks of the program, participants will learn the basics of web development including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, Figma, VS Code, Chrome developer tools, and Github. Participants will spend the last 12 weeks of the course learning the basics of front-end web development with a focus on including React, Next.js, Typescript, unit testing, APIs and deployment. Best practices for project planning/management, responsive design and web accessibility are integrated within assignments throughout the course. Participants may also choose to complete a Google UX Design certificate through a partnership with Coursera. Upon successful completion of one of the pathways listed below, participants will earn a digital badge – a micro credential certifying employable skills.
