In this Parent and Me class we will travel to Omaha’s Wastewater Treatment Plant to tour the facilities and learn about city wastewater. We will then visit Spring Lake Park, a green infrastructure site.

Will have to walk in rough terrain. Individual parents are responsible for travel arrangements to Spring Lake Park. The Missouri River tour is not wheelchair accessible. Please keep in mind that the tours are outside and you should bring water, sun hats, sunscreen, and wear weather appropriate clothing.
