During this camp, participants will visit top Omaha area biotechnology companies and learn about career opportunities in the biotechnology industry. In lab, students will perform hands-on biotech activities including fermentation of foods, DNA extraction, gel electrophoresis, and more. This unique biotechnology exploration experience is a must for any student interested in science, math, engineering, mechanics, and technology.

Lunch will be provided on most days of camp. However, on certain days, students will need to bring their own lunch. Parents will be notified of these specific days before the camp begins. Students must wear long pants and closed-toe shoes every day. Tank tops are not allowed. Students will not be permitted to work in the lab or participate in tours without the proper attire.
