This course introduces participants to the essentials of project management. From the standpoint of a single, stand-alone project, students go through the project life cycle to manage a real project in the workplace. Topics include project life cycles, including initiation, planning, executing, controlling, and closing. Subjects addressed include project charter, creating a WBS, network diagramming, finalizing the project plan, scope management, earned value measurement, and change control. This course is for project team members, project managers, and key stakeholders. Course is eligible for PDU's. First class in Project Management Academy
