This program is designed for students wanting to enter employment in the automotive service industry. Students learn the basics of oil and filter changes, fluid level top-offs, tire mounting and balancing, tire repair, multi-point vehicle inspections, using a vehicle lift, and other light mechanical work. Upon successful completion, students have the desired workforce skills needed in the Omaha Metropolitan area and will be able to obtain employment at dealerships and independent shops. NC3 certifications earned include: Battery, starting, and charging system certification - Battery charging certification - EHP System V tire and wheel certification - RVF 2000-wheel balancing certification.
NOTE: safety shoes and safety glasses are required
