An ePortfolio is a digital collection tool used for teaching, learning and assessment in higher education for students and faculty. Students present products developed in class demonstrating what they have learned relevant to their career field. Faculty assess authentic products significant to student learning outcomes/ objectives. At the same time, students learn how the curriculum connects to their career field and faculty learn what parts of the curriculum may need to be improved. Faculty can also use ePortfolios to store and display self-developed products. This hands-on workshop focuses on defining an ePortfolio, identifying components of a valuable ePortfolio, selecting effective artifacts for an ePortfolio, assessing an ePortfolio and integrating an ePortfolio component into a course/ program.

This course may be offered remotely via Zoom if access to MCC's campuses remains limited.
