This class will give students the foundational tools and knowledge on how to become a professional Youtuber/Streamer. It is designed for students who think they want to try and make Youtubing and live streaming into a career, but don’t know exactly how or where to start. The students will learn about resources that are available to help them with video editing and creation as well as how to deal with common problems Youtuber’s and streamers commonly face. On the first day, students will create their own YouTube and Twitch channel, learn how to record game footage on both console and PC, as well as different approaches to doing YouTube and live streaming. The second day will be an introduction into video editing including free software’s, different editing approaches/styles, and will provide the students an opportunity to try editing a short clip for themselves.
