By taking the AARP Smart Driver Course, participants will refresh their knowledge of the rules of the road and learn research-based safety strategies to help maintain their confidence behind the wheel. They will also learn how to adapt to changes—changes in themselves, their vehicles and the driving environment in order to keep driving safely. The class is open to all ages but is recommended for all drivers age 50 and older.Fees are payable to instructor upon arrival: $20 for AARP members; $25 for nonmembers. There are no tests, exams or assessments. Ask your agent to learn if insurance discounts apply. Bring snacks or a light lunch if desired.
