In this faculty development course, instructors explore key research findings that correlate social presence in online courses with increased engagement, satisfaction, and learning, consider examples of humanizing strategies used by online community college instructors, and experiment with digital tools that hold potential to humanize online teaching and learning. This is an asynchronous four-week online course in Canvas.
