Requirement: moderate walking Enjoy two nights at a three-star rated hotel in Moline, IL, with two breakfasts, a Mississippi Riverboat cruise luncheon, all guided-tour fees, plus a visit to a vineyard and brewery included in the tour price. Day 1: Explore the lovely town of Le Claire – home of the American Pickers (seen on TV’s History Channel) and Buffalo Bill’s Museum. In the evening, walk down to the Riverfront, have a cocktail in the hotel lounge, or relax in your room. Day 2: Experience the Botanical Gardens in Dubuque, IA in the early morning, then onward to Galena, IL, one of the top-rated small towns in America! Tour President Grant’s home, the Dowling House - the oldest home in Galena, and have time on-your-own to shop some of the 125 small independent shops the town has to offer visitors. Later, journey to view the beautiful Thunder Bay Falls and Olathea Creek Vineyard & Winery. Day 3: Receive a guided tour of the Quad-Cities, tour the Isabel Bloom’s Studio, and the John Deere Pavilion during the morning before taking a wonderful luncheon cruise on the Mighty Mississippi River. Board the 750 passenger Celebration Belle for a relaxing voyage with your captain! Afterwards, enjoy a guided tour of the lovely Deere-Heiman House in Moline. The last event will be a stop at the Front Street Brewery, next to the river, in Davenport, IA. Plan on a fast-food stop on the journey home.
