Prerequisite: Knitting 101 or equivalent
This is an essential class for current knitters who want to expand on basic skills and is a prerequisite for more advanced courses. Learn additional ways to cast on, bind off, increase and decrease and when to use them, as well as how to read more complex patterns. Also, learn how to knit in the round with circular and double pointed needles, and try new stitches, such as ribbing, seed stitch, drop stitch, slip stitches and a basic cable. Patterns to illustrate these techniques will be provided. Learn plenty of tips and techniques to take your knitting to the next level, from an experienced knitter, designer and CYC certified knitting instructor, Patti Giorgi.
