Research shows that a regular mindfulness practice can reduce stress, improve focus and increase overall happiness. The course will include instruction and practice in cultivating the mindful qualities of compassion, lovingkindness, appreciative joy, and equanimity. For each of the qualities, there will be an exercise or a meditation, written reflection on the benefit to yourself and others and group discussion of the reflection.
