Yoga for Rookies

Hey yoga rookie, you've heard about the great health benefits that yoga has to offer and you've been encouraged to try a class. Why not take summer break to give it a try? Not sure what you should wear or bring? That's okay. This series is only for yoga rookies. This three-hour session will prepare you to get started. You'll learn: what it means to "do yoga," why you should be going to yoga, what to expect at a class, breathing (yes, we learn how to breathe), and different poses and how to make them work for you, safely and comfortably. Wear comfy clothes and bring your own mat, and a thick towel or blanket. Only one person must register. The instructor is Lizz Cowley. (one session)
