Lori Smith

Helping others succeed has been a life's work for Lori M. Smith, SHRM-SCP, SPHR and President of Capstone Coaching & Consulting, Inc. She has been providing consulting, team development and leadership skills training in the corporate setting since 1985.

Lori has worked for small corporations of 60 employees to companies of more than 47,000 employees. While the cultures in organizations are different, there is a common thread that exists in all organizations. People have basic needs that if met, provide a solid foundation for achieving great success.

While in corporate America, Lori started in a training role and moved on to assume more diverse responsibility in the roles of internal consultant, director and assistant vice president. In her positions as director and assistant vice president, Lori focused her efforts on providing learning and consulting services. Her efforts assisted one organization in reducing turnover by 32% and increasing revenue per associate by 60% in four years.
