David Dechant Building and sustaining positive relationships is fundamental to achieving and enjoying personal and professional success. Recognizing this, David has dedicated himself to helping people hone the relationship skills they need to find and keep the joy in their work and be more effective on and off the job.

David has earned master's degrees in Theater and Organizational Psychology from the University of Nebraska - Omaha, and has been engaged in training and organizational development for the last twelve years. David has presented programs on over 70 different topics related to individual, team, and organizational success to over 30,000 participants - 94% of whom have rated his facilitation as "Very Good" to "Excellent".

As a program developer, David has crafted 100's of hours of in-depth, customized training for companies in sectors as diverse as education, manufacturing, transportation, and health care. David shares a charming, over-priced home in midtown Omaha, Nebraska, with his wife, Donna (who is also an educator) and three too many cats.
Dr. Cynthia Gooch-Grayson As associate vice president for equity and inclusion, Dr. Cynthia Gooch-Grayson oversees affirmative action, equity and diversity and intercultural education.

Cynthia earned her Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Higher Education Administration and Leadership. She received her master's degree in Family and Mental Health Counseling at the University of the District of Columbia and a bachelor's in Communication Studies from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her scholarly interests include equity, retention and access in postsecondary education with groups that have been historically discriminated against, disenfranchised and marginalized.

Ralph Lassiter With over 25 years of experience in all areas of talent management, Ralph Lassiter, CQM, CPT, SPHR, HCS, has earned numerous instructor certifications in areas of leadership, change management, performance management, communication and mediation. He has worked with both private and public sectors including Department of Homeland Security, the National Healthy Start Association, NASA, National Parks Service state DOT's and public utilities. He holds a doctorate in pastoral counseling and a masters in leadership and adult education.

Lori Smith Helping others succeed has been a life's work for Lori M. Smith, SHRM-SCP, SPHR and President of Capstone Coaching & Consulting, Inc. She has been providing consulting, team development and leadership skills training in the corporate setting since 1985.

Lori has worked for small corporations of 60 employees to companies of more than 47,000 employees. While the cultures in organizations are different, there is a common thread that exists in all organizations. People have basic needs that if met, provide a solid foundation for achieving great success.

While in corporate America, Lori started in a training role and moved on to assume more diverse responsibility in the roles of internal consultant, director and assistant vice president. In her positions as director and assistant vice president, Lori focused her efforts on providing learning and consulting services. Her efforts assisted one organization in reducing turnover by 32% and increasing revenue per associate by 60% in four years.
